She went from 8lbs to just under 5lbs. in one year. They did full labs, stool samples and even gave sub dermal fluids since she was dehydrated. All her test came back normal, she even behaves normally except she won't eat at all! I am force feeding her with a syringe 3 times a day. She looks horrible with all that food staining around her fluffy head. I am going to bath her tomorrow, Sunday night. She is going back to Vet this Monday for a dental cleaning. It seems this may all be related to her teeth? It's just a year since her last cleaning. I am worried if she is strong enough for the anesthesia, what else can I do? Am I going about this correctly? nern Member Posts: 894 From:NY, USA Registered: Oct 2002	posted 09-20-2003 08:09 PM You can actually have pre-anesthetic blood testing done prior to having her put under....this will help decifer if your cat is healthy enough to be put under anestheitics. This was done to my dog prior to him being neutered. You should definately dicsuss these concerns with your vet. IP: Logged
