I was wondering if anyone has used this for their cat(s). You put it in their drinking water and it cleans their teeth. I was talking to my vet about how several of my cats have a lot of plaque at young ages. She said it is probably because they were all strays and didn't get proper pre and post natal nutrition. She recommended Oxyfresh and said it could help keep their teeth clean. One of my cats has gingivitis and she said it could help him too. Has anyone used it?

I guess no one has tried it. I ordered some so I will let you all know how it works.

My vet said Oxyfresh was a good idea. I have yet to find it, though.

The way I understand it is that you put a capful or so in their water and it keeps the plaque and tarter from developing on their teeth. I guess it would have the same effect as brushing their teeth. I don't know if anyone's cat would actually let them brush their teeth but mine certainly wont. I will probably get it in a few days, they are mailing it, and I'm guessing it takes a little while to work. We will see. I hope it helps my cat with gingivitis. I am having a hard time putting the rinse I have for him on his teeth at night. He hates it.

I just got it in the mail yesterday. I put some in their water last night. I checked several cats teeth so I can compare the progress. By the way, the cats were not really pleased by this, they hate having their teeth checked. I will check them again in a few days then a week to see if it is doing anything.
