I don't know too much about it, but it sounds like Irritable Bowel Syndrome. My cat was disgnosed with it and that sounds an awful lot like the symptoms my vet asked me about my cat. Maybe someone else has some info here or research it on the internet.

Good luck!

Hi,

It sounds like your cat may possibly have worms. When I first got my kitten, he had ALOT of gas, he was farting all the time, and sometimes his butt stuck out like a cork, he also had blood in his stool. When I took him to the vet, he was diagnosed with roundworms, and they treated him for it and he's fine now. You should definitely take your cat to the vet, whatever the cost... talk to your local rescue place if you can't afford a vet, and see if maybe they can help, because your cat definitely needs treatment if he has blood in his stool, please don't let him suffer any longer, it could be a number of things. Good Luck.
