So, here's a good topic starter:

Welcome!

My cat - part siamese, which explains alot about her personality - wakes me up at 6am almost every morning for breakfast. She sits by a wall, far enogh away from the spray bottle's range, and will deliberatly scratch the wall once. It's like hearing someone run their nails down a chalk board. She'll wait about a minute and do it again. This will keep happening until I reach for the water bottle and then she darts off only to come back again and continue. This has nop become a game ( its fun for only one of us) and can last up to 20 minutes or until I give in and feed her.

Her sister on the other hand is much braver. She will sit by my head and stretch one front leg which conviently comes to rest on my eye lid with all claws out. Mind you she is very gentle but it sure does give you a start when you are in a deep sleep. Then she will gnaw on any available jewelery, rings, earrings, necklaces every now and then nipping at skin. Another one of her tactics is to borrow her nose in your hair and get a good grasp of your hair at its roots and then pull. It doesn't hurt if she gets a mouthful but every now and then she'll grasp just a few hairs and that hurts!!

Funny thing is I have never had both cats gang up on me in a morning.....they always alternate. Almost as if they plan it, or maybe its whoever is hungry first?

LOL! Cats do funny things for food...

Every morning Misty will go into her litterbox and scratch incesently. She knows this drives me crazy! And for some reason, if I'm just tooooo tired to care, she'll go in her litterbox and MEOW very very LOUD until I get up and feed her! Right now during summer I'm sleeping late until 9:00ish, but once school starts back and I'm waking up at 6 again...I'll be very tempted to aggrivate her while she's still snoozing (mwa ha ha ha)....Naw, I'm just kidding, I would never do something like that to my baby - even if she DOES do that to me...

That reminds me of my lab/dalmation, Susie. She's very energetic and loves to run. If I ever decide to go for a run, she just has to run with me. Unfortunately, one of us can't run a straite line (i think it's her...) and she always winds up stepping on my feet and then both of us trip! I think I can maybe run 3 yards in 5 minutes...lol

Thanks! ^.^

I have a question! I posted it in the "general" forum but I don't think I'm going to get an answer there, so I'll ask here! How come I can't see the smileys animated? I turned off all my programs that might interfere, but still no animation! Is there an option on here I need to turn on?

Thanks.....
