Feline friends,
We have three cats. Two live mostly in house and one lives mostly outside and is kinda like a neighbor cat that we all take care of but us the most. Anyway, one of the 2 indoor cats(dusty) who is an eight year old neutered black male has started to eat his fur on his stomach until he now has a bald spot. This seems to have started since a couple neighbor cats have been hanging around out in the backyard in the morning and I've been feeding them breakfast. Dusty sees me get food from his bis bag to share with the others who hang out in the backyard during the summer. Could he be jealous?

I don't know if I would say he was jealous but.... the presence of the other cats could possibly be causing him stress which is leading to him pulling out his fur. Other possible causes would be fleas or allergies but because this started when the other cats started coming around I think stress is most likely the cause. Just my opinion though
