I watched a show about cats a while back and they were explaining how many traits modern domestic cats have come from their non domestic past.. One example they gave was that some arabian shorthaired cats .. the kinds with stripes and big ears are actually decendants of cats that used to burrow.. not like rabits but borrow nevertheless. Their now domestic cousins follow the same rituals by digging into pillows blankets and anything they can find. Anyways it was an interesting show... now whenever i see my cat digging a little den in my sheets i picture his wild cousins in him. IP: Logged |
