Ok, so this will be kinda long...but I think necessary to help you to understand my situation.

I grew up on a dairy farm, and recently graduated college, so I have been home for the summer. It's an expected occurance for there to be a few lil kittens romping around the barn every year. Usually family or friends take a couple...some stay...whatever.

Anyhow, over the winter we had quite a few unexpected drop offs of adult cats. Most of which we have found to be not spayed/neutered. As of right now, the animal lover that I am...I am currently taking care of 9 babies total!!! 3 of whom belong to a friendly momma cat, and 3 more who she is fostering because their mom took off. To top it all off...just yesterday 3 more kittens about 2 weeks of age were found in a dangerous place so we had to move them. The mother is wild, and we cannot get close enough to her to give her the babies back and they're just too curious to leave out in the open to wait for the mother to "maybe" take them back. so as we speak they are sleeping cozy in my bathroom and being bottle fed formula.

I love animals so much, and I have grown such a strong attachment to all these babies, and my wishes are for them all to go to good homes. I have heard the horror stories of "free to good home" ads...and i do not want my kittens fate to be an animal testing laboratory.

I am moving to california in two weeks and i want to do what is best for all these babies before I go. If anyone has any advice on how to adopt them out safely, or if any rescue organizations might perhaps be of help. I just feel so guilty bringing them to a shelter..because that just makes all the other lil guys less desirable for adoption whom are already there. Aghhhh...it's eating me up inside. If anyone can offer any help I would GREATLY appreciate it!

Thanx so much~

It's kitten season! Take the youngen's to your local animal shelter. They'll be adopted at the proper age quickly, and no shelters give out animals to labs. I work at one...kittens go fast. Thanks for caring for them!
Good luck!
