My cat of 3 years is sick and the vet has done tests on her. He did all the blood profiles and the Leukemia,Aids, parasite. The vet said she is leaning towards being a diabetic because she has sugar spilling into her Urine. Yet.. I have to bring her more urine to test to make sure. She doesn't fit the normal diabetic though. Her blood gluclose level was at 245 the other day, but today it was at a normal 144. This whole episode started from her having a fever of 105 and so then all these tests were done to see where her fever came from. The vets said she did have a urinary track infection and gave us batril. I also got some diabetic support tabs to help her since her levels were high in the past few days and the vet is leaning towards diabeties. I am concerned though because i cannot get her to eat. She ate very little yesterday which was the first time since MOnday. I figure it was cause she was sick.. but now.. i am am getting worried and wondering what is making her not eat. Could it be the medicine. Does the sickness she have make her not want to eat. She looks at the food and looks like she wants to eat it.. but then walks away. I have been feeding it to her.. even though she doesn't like that but she NEEDs to eat some how. So my question is do u think I should get a second opinion on my cat's sickness? IS there some thing to help her eat that a vet can prescribe? What should I do? what can make a cat not eat?

That actually sounds like it is diabetes, which is a suprisingly common disease in cats. Continue seeing your vet and do whatever you can for your little girl- as long as shes caught up on her vaccinations, it's probably diabetes. And the things you described DO sound like it.
