I have a 2y/o male cat. He has what looks like a scab on his lower abdomen, but it has been there for awhile.It is whitish-yellow and one edge is black. It doesn't appear to be causing him any discomfort. Does anyone have any idea of what this might be?????

Do you have this cat from a Kitten? Could he have had a surgery that you are unaware of? Maybe if he had previous owners. Definatley sounds like a scab but how long has it been on him?

I have had Scottie since he was about 7-8 months old. He was neutered over a year ago. Could this be the cause of the mysterious "scab". I can't remember exactly when I first saw the scab, but it has been several months.
