Help! My nine year old, neutered male cat is apparently spraying in my neighbor's garage. My neighbor just yesterday complained to me and I don't know what to do. I gave him (the neighbor) a spray water bottle and told him to squirt the cat whenever he comes near the garage, to keep him away. The neighbor often keep the garage door open when he is working inside, and sometimes leave is open for a while afterward if he steps back into the house. Keeping the cat inside all the time isn't an option because I have three children who are constantly opening the doors, going outside.
I am thinking about buying Feliway and asking the neighbor if I can spray it around the garage. Or, I could get him the Comfort Zone plug in thing from Feliway. Has anyone had any luck with these products? Do they have a smell? I don't know if the neighbor will go for it if there is an odor associated with the Feliaway.

I have 2 male cats, neither of which is new. I am pretty sure I know which one it is, as I have seen him spraying in the yard, against a bush. Fortunately, he hasn't sprayed in our house or garage. Also, the neighbor does not have a cat.

Hi, I think your neightbour needs to help with this, and to spray the puss whenever it appears. Also cats hate citrus smells, so you could ask him to place orange and/or lemon peels around the garage. He shouldn't mind the smell, but the cat should.
