I read where omega-3 oil is good for cat's as well as for dogs with cancer or other health problems. It is suppose to help energy levels and helps restore their health.

Has anyone here heard this? I will see if I can get more information on this but read feeding a cat with cancer omega-3 and adding it to cottage cheese a cat that had cancer was back to health.

I'm sorry to hear your kitty has cancer. I know Omega 3 is excellent for dogs and I give it to mine, but I would have thought there would be enough in fishy cat foods for the cats, but I'm not sure. I suggest you do a web search, there are dozens of good pet nutrition sites. I don't see any harm by adding a little of this oil, anyway. It's good for humans too. Please let us know what you find.

Hi woofdoggy. No my kitty doesn't have cancer. I read this on Dr. Weil website where a lady who had a cat with cancer I believe and the vet gave up hope so she fed it omega-3 with cottage cheese and the kitties health was restored. It is also good for the other things.

Just like us humans we need the extra omega-3 for heart health and other things as well and don't really get enough from our diets.

Just passing on info that I read that's all and was wondering if others have heard or tried it.
