Good Morning Everyone
I am very sorry to hear about your cats and my heart goes out to you all!!!

My oldest cat, Bud... is 17 years old. MY daughter picked him out of about 100 kittens at the Humane Society when she was only 2 years old.
I thank God that he hasn't been sick a day in his life untill the last year. He barfs quite abit (I still think its because he just gobbles it down without chewing, because its not digested at all and some are not even chewed). These last 6 months he has lost alot of weight (he's just skin and bones now). The thing I'm trying to find out mostly is if he's in pain. I do NOT want him n pain. He howls alot! ALOT!! Sometimes we think he is just calling our other cat because she comes running to him alot of the time. Other times I think he's just trying to annoy me (sorry Bud)... but alot of the time I wonder if he's howling because he's in pain. I have told my daughter that I think its time to put him to rest (trust that I do NOT want to do that... BUT more so I don't want him to suffer!!!
But them again... at times he plays as if he was a kitten and that makes me want to hold on longer......
I don't know what to do......
Thanks for listening!!

Zoe-
You obviously adore your cat and do not want him to suffer. PLEASE get him to the vet now! He is obviously not feeling well. Vomiting, loss of weight and howling are serious symptoms and if he doesn't get treatment or a diagnosis, it will only prolong any suffering he may be experiencing,
They say in "human" medicine, "DO THE KINDEST THING AND DO IT FIRST".
Don't wait any longer to get your cat some help.

So sorry to hear about your cat..definitely get him to the vet-I had a nineteen year old cat that was doing the same thing, and was diagnosed with a mass in his abdomen. So, I cried for a week and hugged him and took him to be put out of his pain. It sounds like your cat is definitely uncomfortable
