Well I lost my kitten last night, I took her to the Vet and he said she was in the final stage of lukemea, ( but he wasnt sure)So I decided to put her to sleep, she went so peacefally, for that I'm glad, she was hurting so badly. She was my baby though I'll miss her very much.I just dont understand how what I thought was a health kitten to the final stage of lukemea in a mater of 2 days, just doesnt make since in my head, O Well she's beter off now. It seams like most people dont have a clue how hard it is to lose a pet, I know it's one of the hardest things that I've had to go through in many years.

Oh I am so sorry to see you going through this hurt. It IS a huge heartache, because of the love given from such a tiny being, all for the warm bed, warm meal and cozy home we give them. We here all really do understand and empathize with you. They are our best friends, always glad to see us every day as we return from work. I say it all the time, they would give their lives for us should they feel we were in danger at home too. I lost one of my precious Dobermans last yr, and still haven't ever gotten over losing her, went to buy another and the Nakina NC breeder stole my deposit and never had a dog for me. So it was double pain.
I think one of the best things for us and our hurt is to eventually give a home to another wonderful pet in need, and open our hearts again. When you are ready emotionally I have the feeling you will do this, you love animals very much. WE do understand here, we really do. And again, I am so sorry you went through this, it is such a hard decision as we love them and want them with us forever. God bless, and I hope the days ahead become a little easier.

Yes, those of us who are animal lovers, as we all are in these forums, can feel your hurt and know what it's like to lose our precious babies. I do agree with Pauline, after a little time think about getting another pet who needs your love too. When I lost my lovely cat a while back I was grief-stricken, but went along to an animal shelter just to have a look. I came home with a mother cat and her kitten, who had been abandoned, and though I still grieved for my Bo-cat, it was the best thing I could have done, knowing these little creatures needed love. Take heart, the hurt will ease in time, and we all share with you.
