i just wanted to see if anyone knew more than i do. i have a 15 year old house cat who has been losing a lot of teeth within the last few days. someone told me that that's a sign that he's going to die soon. does anyone know if that's true or not? and if so, about how long does he have? if not, why is he losing his teeth?

Not necessarily...I have a friend who has had cats this age without teeth, just modified the diet to a soft diet only, and they lived a few more yrs. It's a sign of aging at this age, no doubt. Otherwise, if it were sooner, it would be bad teeth, and you would have seen urinary system problems, etc. I think it's grand you have a cat that age, you're obviously doing something quite right! God bless.
