I have a 2 year old cat and I'm moving in with someone with 3 dogs - two chihuahuas, and one basengi. My cat has never been around dogs. How can I get all the animals to get along in one house?

Prayer. And lots of it......
All kidding aside, that is a lot for a cat to handle. Now the Basenji doesn't bark per se, but the Chihuahuas are hyper little things that will have that cat trapped everywhere. You'll need to possibly keep em apart actually, whereas the dogs can be free half the day, the cat the other half. Try that for a while, and seee how it goes. Common sense says take it slow, gently, and definitely caution so no harm occurs. You might want to get a huge crate/kennel for your cat, to hold a litter box, food and water, and be in your room closed and safe. Think how you would handle it if you were the cat, and emotionally this is no small feat moving into someone else's humble abode. Lots of patience and help from your friend are needed, no doubt about that, for you both to synchronize the system. First gotta decide what each of you wants for you animals. Best wishes.
