Our cat Baby seems to be losing her fur on her back what could be causing it? we think it may be our new puppy causing stress with her but we are not sure

Is she pulling the hair out herself? Stress from the new puppy is likely to be the cause. It is not uncommon for cats under stress to pull out fur.
