Soda started pulling his fur out when his brother fell of a roof and died, it all grew back again ,recently he has been moved to a new home and has started pulling his fur out again,Do you think this is just stress related. He is also very picky what he eats. Can anyone offer any explanation. It definatly sounds like stress to me. Self mutilation, not eating can be stress related. My baby was ripping his fur out too but later from the vet I found that he had fleas...even though I couldnt find any on him - the vet used a flea comb and found them..problem was solved. Hopefully, once he gets adjusted to his new home he will stop this behavior. Good luck. IP: Logged |
