THIS PAST SATURDAY MY SON AND I WENT AND GOT A NEW LITTLE KITTEN FOR OUR 9 WEEK OLD KITTEN TO PLAY WITH. THIS LITTLE GUY "OJ", PLAYED THE FIRST DAY THEN ALITTLE THE SECOND.NOW ALL HE IS DOING IS SLEEPING. HE'LL USE THE CAT BOX AND DRINKS HIS KITTY MILK, BUT THEN HE GOES BACK TO SLEEP. WHEN EVER IM AROUND HIM HE SLEEPS ON ME. HE ONLY HAD ONE BROTHER AND WHEN WE PICKED HIM HE WAS VERY VERY PLAYFUL. PLZ HELP, HUBBY SAYS HES JUST LAZY, COULD BE BUT WE'VE GOT 7 CATS AND THE LAZY ONES ARE THE OLDER ONES SO THIS MAKES NO SENSE TO ME.

How old is the new kitten? Kittens sleep a lot. Especially until they are 6 weeks old. Then after that they seem to play in spurts and still sleep a lot. I enjoyed it when my kittens would sleep on me, because they usaully get less cuddly as they get older. Trust your instincts. If its sleeping seems abnormal you should consult a vet.
