To anybody who reads this I hope I don't bore you but I just wanted to share my story with everyone.
Well I was at my work one day, a daycare service, when I took my group to the sand pit, shortly after arriving one of my girls came up to me and said there was a parrot sitting on the fence. Of course the first thing that crossed my mind is that this little girl is lying and is desperate for attention, so I just ingnored her comment. Then all of a sudden all my girls came rushing tords me insisting that there is a parrot on the fence. After about 5 min they finally convinced me to go see this "Parrot". But to my surrprise thier WAS a bird on the fence. I couldn't believe it, their was a gorgeous green and blue Budgie sitting on the fence. Immediatly I stuck my hand out to the bird and to my surprise it hopped on my hand. Well to make the story short I took him home, bought him a huge cage, and gave him lots of attention. He's seems to be adjusting just fine and appears to be really attached to me. After about a week I felt bad for him because I go to school and then work, so most of the day he's alone. One day when I came home I decided to get him a girl friend. So I went to the store and got a female Budgie. At first he didnt seem to like her and whould peck at her all the time but he seems to like her alot now. I heard some where that budgies mate for life so if they do im glad that they will have each other for the rest of their lives, and if im lucky they may even have little baby budgies... I hope they do.
Well Im sorry I made this so long. If you read all this, sorry for taking up so much of your time I just wanted to share this story with somebody besides my family. They are all tired of hearing the same story a million times. Thanks for reading
