I know this is a domestic post for birds and I do most of my posting in cats but I have a question on a problem I am having with Humming birds and hope someone here can offer me some advice in what to do.

About two years ago for some unexplained reason a Humming bird flew into the garage and he would fly around in there for hours before leaving well this year this same Humming bird is back as he is the same color as the one last year. He flew around in the garage all day and stayed the night the other night before leaving the next morning. Well, he or she is back and this time with a companion.

My question is does anyone here know the habits of Humming birds and what I can do to stop this behaviour? I would hate for them to loose their life but it seems they are full of energy and creature of habit here.

Hi Mac,

They are probably looking for a place to build their nest and lay eggs.
Your garage seems to fit the bill.

I'm no Humming birds expert. Just my two cents.

That could very well be it. Thanks for the advice.
