Hey Everyone... I'm new but figured I'd make myself "at home" I have a three year old Holland Lop male. We try to spoil him (within reason!) and I was just wondering if apples are healthy for him. I thought they were, but my mom said something about something in them that may not be good for him. Could anyone shed any light on this? Would be appreciated! Thanks in advance! IP: Logged |

The only thing I can think of about apples that might be unsafe are the seeds. I used to give my rabbit dehyrated fruit (including apples) as a treat. Here is a link that has a list of safe fruits and vegetables for rabbits: http://www.adoptarabbit.com/articles/packet/abcvegi.html IP: Logged |
