In planted tanks do you need to have your filter going 24/7?? Or woudl it be better to have it off during the day to help with the CO2...
have any of you noticed any pros or cons of doing this?? Id love to hear thanks!

I have a hang on back filter.. would I be able to run my CO2 hose into the intake chamber of this filter?? Or will all the co2 dissolve into the air?

You need your filter running all the time. Otherwise you could kill off some of your bacteria, or at the very least, w/o the water running through the filter media, most of the ammonia won't be converted and you'll get an ammonia spike. And if you don't have any other form of aeration or surface agitation, the fish could suffer from lack of oxygen.
