Well it has been an eventful month & 1/2 for me. After my house burned down on Sept. 1, I went & lived with my mother-in-law for a few weeks. That was a nightmare since she has a gambling problem. With the Red Cross' help I was able to move into a new place a week ago. I was told I couldnt have a pitbull but since my boy is a "staffordshire terrier" it was ok.
Well I took Lou to go get fixed last Friday. He weighted in at 62 pds. (he is now 11mnths old) The vet tech screwed up & put in his old weight of 42 pds on the paper. So he woke up half way through the surgery. Luckily on everyone's part he didnt even try to bite them. ( If my junk was getting worked on & I woke up, you better belive I would bite someone.)
I got a skin scrape on his spots & the were negitive for Dem. mange. So I still dont have a clue what is causing them. oh-well.
Anyway it is good to be back on here. |

Glad you're back!! Seems like things are back on track with you, your family, and your Staffie.
Believe it or not, what happened to Lou in the Vet's happens more than you think. Usually the staff doesn't let the people know, though, because they would freak.
Hopefully Lou has forgotten his ordeal at the Vets and is enjoying his new home. Maybe that he's settled, his skin problem will start to get better. |

| It's GREAT to hear that you're back on track, and back online. I was just wondering about you a couple of days ago (weird coincidence, huh?) cause last we heard from you, your family wouldn't let you keep your boy there. So, I take it your mother-in-law didn't mind Lou? Sorry to hear about Lou's experience at the vet. He sure is a big boy. Got any new pics? My boy Gauge (Lou's coloring reminds me of my Gauge) is a little over 50 lbs at almost 10 months. |

Lumchbox, so glad to hear you are getting back on your feet, and you still have Lou! scary what happened at the vets
his skin problems could be from stress or maybe diet, what are you feeding him?
