I know I'm not the only one who have had people mistake my Pit Bull for a different breed.

When Ven was a pup (very young and small pup) some one asked if he was a Mini Boxer puppy. Then when he was a little older some guy argued with me that he was a Shar Pei and couldn't believe he was a Pit Bull.

When Santana was a pup I was also asked if she was a Boxer or a Boxer mix.

When Twist was a pup a lady told me "What a cute American Bulldog puppy."

I also had some one argue that my fawn Boxer MUST be a Pit Bull, first they asked and when I said NO she's a BOXER they said are you sure, because she looks like a Pit Bull to me. She must be a Pit Bull and she has her tailed docked. Some people are just morons Rolling Eyes

When Punkin was a Puppy I was asked if she was a Lab? Come on? She's a very light fawn. I guess because she has floppy ears. Pinky was also mistaken for an American Bulldog when she was a pup.

Piper has been mistaken for a Boxer pup many times - more so when she was smaller.

I didn't have the pups mistaken for anything (Maggie's 1st litter), but someone commented about one girl who had a lot of skin to grow into that she could be a Sharpei. I think (not 100% sure) that Gauge probably got mistaken for a Boxer when we lived at our apt complex.

I was walking my dog Raychel when she was like 8 wks. old and some lady said awww can i pet her i said sure and she said this is a Boston Terrier right? Mr. Green I was like ummm...noooo, I told her she was a pitbull puppy and she suddenly pulled her hand back and backed away she said oh i'm sorry i didn't know!!!!!! I couldn't believe it first the lady obviously knows nothing about dogs or atleast not terriers and second she was terrified of an 8 wk. old puppy!! COME ON!!!!!

Goo- "One of those racing dogs" (Greyhound.... ummm....?), Mastiff, Chocolate lab (50 lb brindle colored pit bull=chocolate lab.... right Your the best )

Haley- rotty (? White and brown?), bulldog (this by an 11 yo kid, so I'm pretty sure he was talking about EBs), lab (haha, don't they wish Mr. Green ), boxer

And here's one that made my day a few years ago... I had the hot dog (dachshund) playing fetch/tug up at the school, and as some kids walked by, one told me she must've been "mixed with pit" because that's she only way she could hold onto a rope toy like that Laughing It wasn't until later that I realized how sad that really was Confused
