he's driving me nuts!!!

my little man is 9 weeks now and bites on everything and chews everything. the problem is he bites really hard, and
when i try to tell him no he goes harder. he thinks i am playing. please someone help. hes getting really really agrressive.

that is puppy behavior, how long have you had him, his biting could also be caused by being taken away from the mother too young. between 6 and 9 weeks the mom really disciplines the pups. There is a lot of good past posts here. if you type in puppy aggression in the search function, yo will find a lot of good advice

Puppies don't know what "no" means. You have to teach them that "no" means stop. Instead of no, try saying NAAAH! It sounds more like a snarl and the pup is more likely to understand. Also, hitting a pup doesn't work. Momma dog never hits her pups. What does she do? She bites them on the top of their muzzle, or nips the scruff. If your pup is missbehaving, say NAAH! and grab his scruff and give it a firm and gemtle shake. It should only take a few days or less to successfully teach any pup that biting is not appropriate. I let them play with my hands, if they bite down, I yank my hand away and say NAAH! I give back my hand, and if they bite down again, they get a NAAAH! and a scruff shake. If your pup really missbehaves, say NAAH!, take him by the scruff, and flip him over on his back and hold him down, and stare angrily into his eyes. If he wriggles or hollers, say NAAH! again until he is quiet. Then let him go. You will be amazed at how effective these methods are. They are much more natural, and less violent then hitting, or swatting, and much easier for your puppy to understand. Not to mention thgese things help you to establish your dominance which in the long run makes for a much more fulfilling relationship for you and your dog.
