hey my name is brian. i just got a 7 week old pit. hes a cutie and very playful. i was jsut wondering about his color. i'll try to get a pic soon. anyway hes all black but with a tiny white stripe on his nose to eyes. and white on his chest. when looking at him he looks black but under light hes like black and brown and maybe marroon? also hes really shiny and puts off a silver color. thanks

Welcome to the forum, glad to see a new comer join us Surprised
Can't wait to see pics of your baby!! He is seal and white if you asking what color he is. Some have the silver sheen some don't. Mine did, her littermates did also. My friend dog didn't, but it doesn't matter either way. What bloodline is yours?

Ask the breeder is one way. look at the pedigree or trace back through it.

I'm glad you love him and thats all thats important! I was just curious I guess...lol I'm sure he's a cute and sweet little guy. Sounds like they don't really know the bloodlines that well anyway, most people just say Colby although the dog isn't really a colby because thats the only line they know and then theres the infamous red nose which isn't a bloodline but a nose color. red nose, black nose and blue nose. But it doesn't really matter it isn't all that important. Seal is one of the most interesting colors, especially the kind with the sheen. APBTs colors in general are neat, one reason why I like them so much they come in so many colors and patterns. You can own 10 of them and they all look different.
