the broker/owner donates money from each closing to various local charities. The $$ comes from the business end of a sale (oh yeah I work in a real estate office). The buyer or seller (whoever the realtor brings in) gets to choose which charity the money goes to. When I started working here last December I added the shelter I volunteer for onto the list (at the top....I got permission, of course).

They let me know today they are putting all of these donated funds into their spay/neuter program. I feel good knowing we're helping the shelter spay/neuter more incomings. One check sent from here pays for 2 animals to be fixed. Surprised
