Yo, how do I tell my parakeets age? I know it has sumthing to do with his strips, right?

hi young birds usually have barring on there head and under there tail older birds lose this also it depends on the colour of the bird.

Lutino's and albino's dont have barring most birds have id bands on there legs which has the date and year they were born.
If this is not the case then the cere (skin above the beak ) is more crusty and scaley when the bird is over 12months of age.
