days as on May 1st we leave for Siamese Rescue in VA 
They have Spring Training every year and in the 4 years I've been fostering for them I've never gone (not a world traveler).
We've rented a car and are driving down (idiots we be) from NH.
We are spending the weekend there and on Monday doing the Shenadoah Valley thing and heading to Annandale, VA where we are meeting with a lady who adopted one of my fosters 3 years ago. She and her partner are taking us in DC at night and the next morning we're doing a bus tour of DC. Staying at her place that night and then heading home.
I'm so excited....I CAN'T wait to see Rescue's shelter and meet the kitties.
And I also can't wait to learn more.
I can, however, wait to spend nights in a hotel with the snoring machine I'm married to  |

Sounds exciting Mary that will be a lot of fun seeing the rescue!! I can understand the excitement of a road trip but without the hotel (I'm not a big hotel kind of person either!!)
Have a great time and can't wait to hear all about it. |
