Has anyone here used Yesterdays news or the new Wheat litter..that is flushable? i bought a small bag of the Yesterday's news bc it was only $1.86 and it says it absorbes like 3x the amout of urine that clay litter does..the cats are a little hesitant of it ..so i mixed it w/ their regualr tidy cats....but the wheat one looks great..it is flushable and it safe for kittens as well as long haired cats...its a natural clumping litter...just wanted to see if anyone had tried either brand????

I've never used them but know lots of people who swear by both.
Another good one, although again I don't use it as storage is a problem, is chicken feed. You can get it at Agway 50# for about $8 and it's flushable. Cheap, good odor control and convenient to deal with.
We have a problem with mice here (Zeus loves it) and I dare not have chicken feed around.
