I think Copper smells like a tea bag...maybe a dusty tea bag. Very Happy I wonder why he doesn't stink while he lives in the same house as my dogs and they smell like fritos no matter what or how often I bathe them. Rolling Eyes And he NEVER gets bathed. I'm sure it has something to do with the oils on their skin or something, huh? And not so much their envirnoment.

I was just wondering if your cats had an odor. And now I have welts on my face for burying my nose in Cop's fur. Embarassed

I have potted plants on the 3rd story balcony and Juliet likes to sleep in some of the bigger barrels. So, she often smells like lavender. Then again she smells like cat food after she eats.

Kitty has a sweet smell to her. She always has . I love her smell. I am the same as you coppersmum I could bury my face in her fur all day! Embarassed

Tiger stank before he got desexed. He reeked. But now he has a boy cat smell. Still a nice smell, but so totally different to Kitty's.

although my kitties don't smell like lavender (would make me sneeze anyway) they smell so good. I love to bury my nose in Missy's fur, and come up sneezing. Gives me a rush Mr. Green
but they all smell good

Rene smells like a dog sometimes. Maybe it's the Asian Leopard in her. Her fur is usually very oily. I love burying My face in Milo's fur- so soft + cuddly + sweet. I sneeze to high heaven if I try it with Monty or Pumpkin. Rolling Eyes

i think i read somewhere that cat saliva contains enzymes to help with the cleaning when grooming that a dog does not have. maybe that is a reason why cats smell nice.

When Mittens was a kitten, she had a distinctive scent. Not a bad one but I can place what it was. I don't notice it anymore.

Socks, not being the cleanest kitty since she can't reach well under her tail also sometimes has a distinctive scent. Not a particulary good one. Mr. Green

My nose isn't the greatest so I can't always pick up certain scents. Confused

I have no idea if Gracie has a smell. I can tolerate her up around my neck without breaking out (unlike most cats) but not on my face, so I don't think I'll be smelling her anytime soon, lol!

Kyrre and Buster have different smells, but I cant put my finger on what it is. I think Kyrre smells best though, maybe because he have the softest fur, or maybe just because he's my big baby Mr. Green
