http://petsmart.promotions.com/JSP/flashnew.jsp?advertCode=PetPerks_070406_Hero_SNS&cm_ven=atOnce&cm_cat=PetPerks&cm_pla=070406&cm_ite=Hero_SNS

This was kinda cool. I did it for Vianne and it came up with Blue Buffalo, the same food i'm already feeding her Smile

It's neat cuz it does a breakdown of costs, ingredients, ect. and compares with other brands side by side.

That's a neat site. Pumpkin came out with the same thing that I'm feeding her as well- Pro Plan. Monty came up with Eukanuba or Science Diet. Milo and Rene came up with multiple choices. I also rotate foods for them like Buffalo Blue, Wellness, etc. Right now they are on Pro Plan and Chicken Soup. Mr. Green

It gave Gracie multiple choices, all of which I have rotated through, as I tend to buy something different each time. The only thing it changed on Gracie is that she needs senior food. I never really thought about her age, because she still seems so young. She still plays and attacks you, lol, and she doesn't look old. Then when it asked for her age and I started counting, I realized that she is a little over 7! After she finishes this food, she gets to start on the senior kitty food...

Interesting idea, but the problem is that it only recommends the foods that Petsmart sells. They don't sell the generally healthier, more natural brands like Evolution, Newman's Own Organic, or Innova. Luna gets a combination of those three.

By the way, if you haven't tried Newman's Organic cat food, you should give it a try! It's pretty much the only organic cat food on the market and it's loaded with good ingredients. In fact, when Paul Newman was on Letterman (or was it Leno) one time, he was challenged to eat some of his organic dog food, and he did it without hesitation. Very Happy

I wouldn't want to feed Vianne just ANY of the brands that PetSmart sells, but Blue Buffalo is actually a pretty decent food and they also sell Natural Balance which isnt too bad either. I feed her that sometimes if i'm pinched for cash since the Blue is a tad pricey.

I just think the link was neat cuz it lets you compare side by side and i can see right there that i'm already feeding her the best one they got! Smile

I do feed her other brands occasionally--Wellness, Prairie, Wysong, Innova EVO, California Natural, etc., but sometimes it's just convenient to go to PetSmart on my way home from church cuz it's right next to it so i save some gas when i don't have to make a special trip to go to the other pet store that sells the other stuff.

I have tried offering her the Newman's Own canned food before, but she wouldn't touch it. She's very particular about wet food and ONLY likes her Blue Buffalo brand canned cat food--which I can only get at PetSmart and since I try to get her to eat more canned, it just all works out that way.

Blue Buffalo is a good one, it was Luna's main dry food for about a year. I wish that they would sell their "Lifesource Bits" (those purple chewy vitamin bits mixed in with the kibble) separately as well, they're really a good idea. Sorry if I came across sounding negative about the site, it's still definitely a handy tool!

I hear you about picky eaters... Luna has rejected many more things than she's accepted, particularly when it comes to wet food. How many times I came home excited about finding some amazing new canned food just to have her sniff it a few times and pretend to bury it by scratching at the floor near the plate! Rolling Eyes
