I have a ball python that is about a year old. I feed him live mice about every 2 days and the mice are fed a regular nutritional hamster diet. Today I had him out and I was handling him and I noticed that his jaw looks kinda weird, one side is propped up (open a little bit) and the other side is closed just fine. My mom said it sounds like it might be a vitamin definciency. Does anyone know what this is or what I can do to help him? He doesn't act like he's in pain and he looks okay otherwise. Any replies would be helpful and asap please I am going on vacation in a few days... Thanks in advance.

| On a side not I would stop feeding him live mice as they can cause injury to your snake. |

| I've never had a problem with feeding live... And I hold it in front of him so he can take it from my hand, so the mouse has no chance to hurt him. And he is always supervised when he is eating... well his jaw looks better, its closed all the way now, thanks though |
