Hi!
My family has a 3 gallon plastic aquarium (w/ filter and light) that we would like to do SOMETHING with. I have a done a lot of research and I am finding that the aquarium cannot adequately hold anything. We have another much larger tank that we used to use, and plan on starting that up again in the next year or so. However, we have this tiny tank hanging around serving no purpose. I would like to find something to do with it....any ideas?

Well , there are alot of ideas. The following are some you can use:

Have Pet Hermit Crabs
Have Pet Spiders
Have Pet Snakes
Have Pet Lizzards
Have Pet Geicos
Have A Ant Farm ...... lol

You could put a single betta in there or a single african dwarf frog. Or you could put a few ghost shrimp in there.

I think it would be pretty neat to do a nano planted tank with a few shrimp. I bet if you set it up just right, it could be really low maintenance.

If the tank were for me, personally, I would have jumped at some of those ideas. Unfortunately, my mom really wanted it to stay aquatic...

Thanks, I am actually thinking of going with the planted tank with shrimp idea...I have done some research....I don't know where to start though! I have never had shrimp OR a planted tank! Any suggestions, ideas, advice, step-by-step instructions (lol) or pointing me to a good web-site would be greatly appreciated!
