Jack Dempsey Babies questions

Well, I had a unplanned teen pregnancy recently and am the proud grandfather of several hundred Jack Dempsey fry.

I'm gonig to start contacting my LFS (well all of them) soon to see if they are willing to take them in when they get bigger.

Anywho.... has anyone recenly sold/traded any to a pet store and if so what did they offer for them?

I used to get $1 each for african cichlid fry. They tend to be a bit easier to sell than JD's (someone's more likely to buy 5 or 10 africans than they are JD's), but LFS's generally charge a little more for JD's.

No luck so far but I guess I'll have to hunt down some of other pet stores in the area here soon to see if they will take some in or I'll be up to my gills here soon.
