Hi. There is no actual "right amount" of water that a cat should drink. There are just way too many reasons why one cat might drink more than another. For instance: How hot it is/where you live, if they eat soft food or not (soft food has a high water content, so they will drink less water than a cat who only has hard food), how active a cat is (the more active, the more water they will drink) and so on....
If your cat is healthy, any amount he/she drinks is the right amount for them. |
