Tubby got into Chocolate!!!

My sister just called me. She went home to visit her boyfriend and said that her and my mom found Tubby and she had gotten into a bag of hershey kisses. She's a very sick pup... they don't know how long ago she had ate them, so they rushed her to the vet.
They gave her activated charcoal to make her throw up and help protect her body against the toxins. Mom said she found about 7 wrappers and a couple chewed but not all the way eaten, and when she got home with Tubby, She found three stashed in her bed!!!

Tubby is still dry heaving and is acting rather normally, but I fear its going to be a long sleepless night for my mom.

It wouldn't have worried the vet so much had it been a normal size dog, but Tubby's only 5lbs and for a Chihuaha to consume that many hershey kisses, it would be like a labrador eating 2lb block of chocolate....

Same thing happened to me... The Dog was fine after a couple days. I dont know if it will be the same way with your dog. But it happened to my little 6 month dog. It is not a dog that you have but it is a weenier dog. I hope your dog feels better! Cool
