Twist our 15 week old Fila puppy has always been around cattle. The place we bought him from raised their puppies right along side the new calves from their dairy farm. So Twist has never really known a life with out cattle in it. He is always out with Curluppa, Honey Bear, and Pixie in the pasture during the day. He likes to run with one of them if we need to move the herd but he hadent yet shown in incline to go after a cow on his own.

Well today I heard some barking and some bawing from a heifer out in the pasture. It was a puppylike bark but I figured it would be Pixie. But I look out to see Twist driving the heifer back into the herd. It looked like it was wondering off a ways from the herd which is ok with us but Twist didn't like it. And the heifer was smart enough to obey him. None of the three veterans went to his aid at all all of them just watched him carefully.

My husband is and I are just brimming with pride for our baby boy. He is going to make an awsome go dog Smile.

There's nothing better than watching a dog do what he was bred to do!
