Hi,

The weirdest thing just happened.

It was 7pm, my partner had just gone out to see a band and there was nothing on TV so after a very busy day I went to lay on the bed and read my book.

When I'm alone I allow Floob to jump up. He snuggles right up to me and falls asleep almost immediatly. He doesn't make a sound until I get off.

I'd been reading for half an hour when I got up, so he followed as usual. I just happened to glance over and there was a huge wet patch where he'd been laying. He had his head on the pillow so it could have only been pee. I instinctivly felt it and it was soaked! Right through the quilt, sheet, protector and on the matress. I've had to strip the bed and scrub the matress. It'll never dry before bed so heaven knows where we'll sleep.

This has never happened before. I was so shocked. I had to feel under his belly just to check for signs, and his fur was all wet.

He acted normal, like it hadn't happened. He's had a normal day as far as food, drink and walks go. He's used to my partner going out. He's used to jumping up with me when I read. Everything's normal.

I just can't beleive it.

I'd get a urine sample into the vet to check for a urinary tract infection.

Hi,
I'd already decided that if it happened again I'd get him to a vet, or if he didn't seem himself in any way.

He's been fine and he was normal this morning on the bed, no wet patches Laughing

I'm hoping it was just that he'd gone into such a deep sleep he didn't even know it'd happened, btu I'm keeping a very close eye on him.

Wylie would do this occasionally when she was younger. She would play so hard and then totally zonk out. you couldnt get up up to go to the bathroom and she would pee in her sleep. So hopefully thats all it is
