Sherbert's been looking too big for her 55 gallon so I've been wanting to move her back to the 75 and try putting Buddy with her (he was in a 20 tall).

So today I finally got around to moving the africans from the 75 to the 55 and Sherbert & Buddy into the 75.

And while I was at it, I did some redecorating as well.

Here's the 55 before:

And the 55 after (Something a little different than the traditional Malawi set up. Still need to get a few more pots and I'm going to look for some nicer plants. Most of those are my old/worn out/reject plants)

75 before (as nice as 3D backgrounds look, I don't think I'll ever do it again. You either have to completely seal them to the tank, in which case they're pretty permanant; or you don't seal them and they trap a butt load of junk behind them - as bad as a UGF - it was disgusting).

75 after (that white sand really brightened things up).

So far Buddy & Sherbert are doing fairly well. Buddy wants to be friends with Sherbert, but she wants him to leave her alone. She's given him a few warning nips & chases to put him in his place but nothing serious and no damage done. And there's a couple places that he can get to but she can't.

And as a teaser, here's the before shot of the 20 gallon.

I'm going to give Buddy & Sherbert a few days to make sure they're okay with eachother. If all goes well, I'm going to move the 10 gallon fish/plants to the 20 so I can tear down and sell the 10. I won't go into details about my plans on the decor for the 20, but I will say it's something I've never seen done before (although I've heard a few people talk about considering it), and if it turns out like I hope, it should be pretty cool.
