Indy turns 2 today!!!!
I got him when he was 5 1/2 wks old (I didn't know better back then!) and have managed to keep him alive for 2 yrs - which has been quite a feat I might add.
I'm going to get him a hamburger or steak or something.
I'm just so happy. He really has turned out to be a great dog (he was a nightmare of a puppy ). But now he's the sweetest thing! |

Happy BIRTHDAY!
Are you having a party?
Throw a Dog Birthday Party!
Dog birthday parties are becoming increasingly popular. You can celebrate even if you don't know your dog's birthday. Just choose a date to commemorate the day your puppy joined your family, and prepare to lavish him with love!
You could celebrate at a dog park, but if you have an appropriate sized backyard, why not invite your puppy's playmates over for a fun off-leash day right there? Set up some fun things for the dogs to investigate, such as a wading pool or sprinkler, toys filled with treats, a pile of old shoes with a goodie in one, etc. Let your dog interact with his pals and get thoroughly hyperactive!
Don't forget the chow! Many dog bakeries now offer dog birthday cakes and other yummy treats perfect for such occasions. Be sure to have the camera ready when you set out the confections. You may want to have some little party favors ready to hand out to your guest's parents after cake time, such as dog gift sets complete with shampoo!
If you have been invited to a dog birthday party, you will get to have the fun of selecting a dog gift for your puppy's best pal. For dog birthday gift ideas, visit Bark N Bath's Dog Gifts Page! |
