I have a 6 year old pit bull that is alledgedly Eli's son. I got him 6 yrs ago and they said the father was Boudreaux Eli. It was my first dog and I knew nothing about pit bull pedigrees so it was just a name to me. I especially had no idea that his father was stolen until last week when researching his bloodline. I asked again who his father was and got the whole story about him being stolen and where. I am very upset about the whole deal. I was wondering if anyone knows the circumstances of how he was stolen. Was it in an airport? If it was actually the real Eli he died of heartworms a few years ago.

What does his pedigree say, this has to be false information. Eli was born in the 1960s and wouldn't have any 6 year old sons. Both Eli and Art were stolen. Misfortune, Art was a very great dog. And what do you mean if it was the real Eli he died of heartworms a few years ago? Since he was stolen how would you know this and what would make you think a any dog would live to be 40 years old? Maybe the dog is Eli bred, not sired by Eli or maybe the sire is another Eli dog, even one down from Eli himself as there are many Eli bred dogs and many dogs named Eli.
