she gave me here lil baby black moor i myself have one too but hers has hook worms and he eats and still looks like he is swimming fine but the person who sold it to her told her to pull them out herself so she didn't know what to do with him so i took him in and i just want advice.?

hello, one of my fish had that, it looks gross when u see the worm.
what i was told to do is get some twesers, lay the fish on a wet towl and pull them out. you got to be fast, so the fish isnt out of the water to long. or phone some fish stores and ask if they can do it for u. some pet store might do it for u.

Are they red worms coming from its anus?

Could be Camallanus. In which case, there are medications (such as Levamisole) for treating it.
