for you who feed raw, question

Since my husband wont let me feed raw I have looking for alternatives and found this.

they ahve both frozen and freeze dried food - I was looking at the freeze dried. By holy moly Shocked

40% protien and 29% fat - it doesn have recommend feeding guidelines, but I fed that to Jake who is #100 he would probably only get a Cup

And i heard high protein can be bad, but since this is kind of equivilant to raw what are your thoughts

I think that's a decent food. I started out feeding Nature's Variety frozen raw before I went totally raw. It was way too expensive, though - I just couldn't afford it every day.

You won't get any teeth cleaning benefits from raw patties like that, but it's got to be better than most kibbles. I don't really know how it compares to the premium kibbles.

Jimiya, I just got back from my new dog bakery - I got Jake Wysong synorgon kibble. It is their allergy version They carry natures variety and breeders choice raw patties. I wonder how it would work if I incorporated soemthing like this a few times a week. I think Maisy does it but since she is MIA The brochure says the freeze dried is for when you travel.

check this out - this is a wysong kibble - but my place doenst carry it
they say it is a non-heated food that is 99% meat.

INGREDIENTS:
Beef, Beef Liver, Chicken, Chicken Liver, Ground Bone, Condensed Whey, Fish Oil, Calcite, Barley Grass Powder, Wheat Grass Powder, Dried Seaweed Meal, Artichoke

it only has 250 calories a cup which means jake would have to eat 6C and and Wouldnt be abel to affore that.

I wonder if you can mix it like a few tmes a week it it would beneficial?

Whats really in dog food see the link above. I have been feeding BARF for awhile now to my Put Bull. My 1 lb Chihuahua does not care for it but my Pit Bull wouldnt eat anything but. I support BARF 100%. I would think that the patties would not HELP as much as rawn bones etc with teeth cleaning etc but hey it has to be better than dry kibble right? Im sure the dogs would like it too.....be like someone cutting my meat off the bone for me, hey all the help would be nice ha ha ha

thanks for all of the info. For now I am going to try the wysong synorgon and he just went on the Nzymes yeast treatment last week which I want him to get adjusted to and this new food and Nyzymes before I try supplementing. I think I may try the pattys, - it depends if I convince my husband, if not I will try the archetype.
