I'm a little worried about the others nipping the angels fins, so I would say no.

if anything i would say the angel would be the one doing all the nipping. they can sometimes be sem-aggressvie

From my experience you both are at least partially correct. Mollies and Platies nip the fins on the Angelfish, and tha Angelfish nip the tails on the Guppies. Just an extra, Tiger Barbs nip everybodies fins.
