live bamboo will not work.

Java fern is supposed to be simple to maintain.

Java fern & java moss are both good, easy, low light plants. I've also had pretty good luck with amazon swords and wendtii (those are low-moderate light, though). And my aponogetons are doing pretty good (got them as a package of bulbs from walmart).

I've never kept danios with live plants so I can't say for sure, but I don't think they'll do any serious damage to them.

And my aponogetons gets tall. I'm constantly having to cut it back in my 5 & 10 gallon tanks. In this pic, it's the tall plants in the corner with long stems and leaves on the ends.

I labeled them

If you want live plants, you'll probably still have to upgrade your lightinging a bit (maybe double what the standard lighting is).

Then, I think the aponogetons, amazon sword, and java moss/fern should do okay. Anubias nana is also supposed to be a good easy low light plant, but I've never tried to grow it. My wendtii is doing pretty good in my tanks so they may work okay in your 75 if you upgrade the lighting (they've been making baby plants so I just moved a couple over to my 5 gallon).
