you could probablly get away with an oscar... you could also put 2 or 3 more cons or fire mouths in there

An oscar? Not a chance in a 55 with a bichir and cons.

Considering the bichir is eventually going to get 12", I'd just leave it at the 2 cons and the bichir.

I really want something to put in there cause my tank is very boring and dull, with three female cons and a bichir that hides during the day my tank is very dead. I was wondering if I could put a yellow lab or two in there, or could I put them in there if I remove the cons.

Like someone posted in 1 of my threads "Convicts and yellow labs are incompatible."

2 cons and the B sounds ok, but u could probly add something like a Flameback or something. Maybe a blood parrot or some nice fish that dont grow to big and is a cichlid so it can hold its own if it gets bugged.

Check your lfs and ask the employees wut they got.
