I know I don't post in this forum often but, it's a happy occasion for me and my bettas!
Last Month on May 25th my purple bettas Bayers turned 1! And today is the my blue betta Hirr is 1!
I'm a very proud Mommy! I was just wondering, how long do Bettas normally live for? 1yr seems like a long life to me. My newest addition to my family of Bettas is Spoiler, who is now 4 1/2 months. |

Congrats.
And yup, 2 - 3 years. And keep in mind that most bettas sold in stores are close to a year old.

| Really? Well, then I'm not buying bettas from any other pet stores than the one I usually go to. The store I go to gets new bettas the first Wednesday of the month, I was told the ones they get are 1 month old because they have a particular breeder they go to. Who knows? Maybe they are lying.. |
