| I'm buying my niece a 2.5 gallon tank and I was wondering how many fish can go in it. I'm not planning on buying HUGE fish, just a few average sized ones. Thanks in advance. I think this site is great. |

You're pretty much limited to a single betta, or a single african dwarf frog, or some ghost shrimp. I would not put any tetras in a 2 1/2 gallon.

| You could do a Bumble Bee Goby tank. The tank will have to be brackish and you could put two Bumble bee Gobies in there. |
