120 Gallon Tank Options

I have an empty 120 gallon aquarium now and would like to put some bigger or more aggresive cichlids in it. My question is what combinations could I do with the following cichlids??

Green Terror
Jack Dempsey
Texas Cichlid
Midas Cichlid

I don't think I could put them all in, but what are your thoughts?

Forget the midas unless you want it to be the only fish in the tank.

A lot will depend on the individual temperment of the fish, but in theory (and aiming for a light-moderately stocked tank & trying to avoid aggression) you could go with 3 JD's (although if 2 decide to breed, they may kill the 3rd). A bottom feeder and a GT & Texas / GT & JD / Texas & JD. Or go with a single GT/Texas/JD and add a bottom feeder and some dither fish like silver dollars. Or 2 JD's, the bottom feeder & dithers.

Thanks for the reply chelle. I think I'm gonna go with a GT, JD, TX, Plecostamus. Maybe add in some hardy other fish like you said.

Lol, no I didn't die if you saw my HEY GUYS IM BACK post. Yeah, but I want mildly aggressive fish like a community of them, not one fish kills all. If I had the extra tanks I would for sure.

In your tank, with the big cichlids, a good bottom feeder would be the Clown Loach because they get to big to be eaten, and are pretty hardy

The common size is 6"-12"

Trickster- I will consider that but doesn't it take them like 3-4 years to reach just 4-5 inches??

I have had alot of succes with plecostomus's.

I release the natives into their natural habitat because they were getting too expensive and messy, and too big. Lol, the Northern even ate the bass, and the Pike kept getting ick like 3 times. Natives are the hardest fish to keep IMO.

Get big fish but strain away from the super aggressive ones so everything in ur tank doesnt get killed.

How about a tank full of mbunas/ Lake Malawi Cichlids? I think that would look nice, they get too large, are not hideously aggressive, and they have personality and would add a lot of color.
